September 18th
We will set up tables early Saturday morning on September 18th in order to participate in the Neighborhood Yard Sale that we are sponsoring. Volunteer Sign Ups coming soon.

How you can help:
1. Saturday morning set up at 7:00 am (September 18)
2. Come and sell your stuff (September 18 bring your own table and stuff or just bring your stuff)
3. Food service from 10:30am-4:00pm (September 18 Cook hot dogs, etc)
4. Run the prize winning game or games from 8am-4pm on September 18
 

September 4th
We have five teams that you can sign up to join on Saturday. Each team leader will be responsible for coming up with a plan to cover as much of the map as possible in one hour time slots Saturday, September 4th 9:00am-3:00pm.

Rules of Engagement
1. Wear a mask when approaching a house.
2. Only go where you feel safe.
3. Inform Team Leader of the streets and homes you have visited at the end of your shift.
4. We want people to have their own Yard Sale or come to ours.

Isolation, fear, disappointment, loneliness may be good descriptions of what you have experienced over the last year, but these also describe what happened almost 2000 years ago. The cross of Jesus Christ would have either been forgotten of it would have been an emblem used to identify them. Instead it became an emblem of victory, family, courage, and purpose. Why? We'll find out on Easter Sunday, April 4th at 10:10am.

We just want to encourage you to continue to be a good steward of what God has given you and to remember your tithes and offerings.

We will have in person and online services Sunday, October 18, 2020.

Worship, Lunch, Work
In order to make it safe to worship in person on Sunday we will spend time Sunday afternoon doing some of the following: 

• Eating (KFC)
• Remove paneling and other wood from walls and windows to prepare for drywall
• Cut up and remove carpet (you'll use razor blade knife to cut but anyone can carry)
• Clean up nails, and other construction trash outside (safe for anyone)

HVAC Installation Continues
Air handlers have been installed. Most ductwork has also been located and run. When electric finishes we will have heat!

Plumbing
We still will only have cold water until a new water heater can be installed.

Electrician
Starts Monday. This could lead to a couple of weekends without power. And even if we do have power we may not want you there in person for safety issues. Also note that a new underground service will be located on the property and grounds keeping could be inhibited.

Framing
All framing should be done Saturday. It has been delayed due to exterior door damage.

Siding and Gutters
Now starts Monday due to framing delay.

Bring a side or desert and we will provide the main course for our Monthly Fellowship Meal right after worship this Sunday, March 3rd. Any and all are invited to join us. We always have plenty of food.

Road conditions will remain dangerous this morning. So, physical services are cancelled, but Robert is still going to preach his sermon beginning at 10:10am.

Karen and Kenji Totsuka have generously volunteered to reboot our monthly fellowship meal. Our first one will be Sunday, February 3rd, right after worship. Further details will be available on Sunday.

We’re collecting used shoes to send to an organization that works with lots of 3rd world countries to set up micro-enterprise businesses for women and families. We will collect shoes over the next two weekends beginning January 20th.

We Are The Monks Concert

Volunteer appreciation will be Friday, November 16th at Upbeat Cafe on Broadway. If you have volunteered in any way you are invited.
