Searching for clarity on guns

The original question that was posted at first take seemed comical, "When John sees his revelation as it was recorded in the book of Revelation did he see any guns?" Of course he didn’t see any guns because he wouldn’t have known what a gun was. He didn’t see any guns. He didn’t see any guns. No guns in heaven? So, what do we do with that?
